Hello Bobcat Families!

November/December Student of the Month!

Congratulations to our November/December Students of the Month! These students were selected by their teachers for representing the core value of Gratitude! Way to go Bobcats!

Dine-Out Opportunity

Our next dine-out is January 12th at Chipotle on Thrive Drive from 4-8pm!

COVID-19 Rapid Testing Kits

How to pick up your free COVID-19 testing kit at Chilton:

Parents can come to Chilton during the time below to pick up a student testing kit. Please note that tests will not be distributed to students. Also, we are specifically avoiding regular drop-off and pick-up times due to the traffic congestion we typically experience.

January 11 (Tuesday) from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm ONLY - in the Chilton LIBRARY. Please use the parking lot, side door of the library. This is the same door used during elections.

As a reminder: The district is providing these tests simply to increase community access to families should you want to test your child.

If positive results are received, please notify the school so that further instruction can be provided to you and your child. Do not send your student to school if they test positive.
If negative results are received (and your student is not exhibiting any symptoms and/or have not been instructed to quarantine at home), they may continue to attend school and activities.
As a reminder, any and all test results required to be collected by RCSD for isolation, quarantine, or return to school must be medically supervised.

If you have any questions about the at-home test pick-up, please contact Principal Jeff Ancker (jancker@rcsdk8.org).

Thank you for all you are doing to keep our students safe and healthy, and we are wishing all of our Chilton families a wonderful 2022.

Chilton Core Values

Chilton's January Core Value is Kindness.  At Chilton:

We believe that demonstrating generosity and friendliness is not merely a state of mind or an attitude; it is an intentional activity that requires directed effort and is a learned skill.

Talk with your child about what being Kind means to your family!
