Before and After School Supervision Reminder

This is a reminder that there is no supervision of students before 8:45am in the morning and after 3:30pm in the afternoon. We highly recommend that students come straight to school when walking or riding their bike, scooter etc. Also, there is never supervision at Nichols Park so we want to encourage students to come to campus in the morning and not hang out at the park.

Additionally, we have had reports from community members that students congregate in the middle of the bike trail that is marked by a red line on the map below. Many community members use this trail in the morning so we want to make sure that it stays clear of students hanging out before and after school. Thank you!

Tutor.com

A message from the District Office:
Hello RCSD Middle School Families,

The Roseville City School District has partnered with tutor.com to help provide students with additional support if needed. Tutor.com is a fully online tutoring service. You can get a tutor 24/7 in Math, Science, Social Studies, English, and Foreign Languages. Tutoring sessions take place in their easy-to-use online classroom, which runs in your web browser. Students can navigate to tutor.com/rcsd and login using their student ID and birth date (in the form of mm/dd/yyyy).

The slide deck below includes details regarding tutor.com, videos showing how to connect to a live tutor, and more. If you have any questions please reach out to your school site.

SOS

School staff are working to teach students about mental health and how to seek help if they are worried about themselves or a friend. We are using a program called SOS Signs of SuicideⓇ. The program teaches students about this difficult topic and encourages them to seek help. Please read THIS document for more information.
